I saw Nesting Place's 31 Days project and wanted to take part... but I didn't really know where to begin. So many of the themes were inspiring, like Shannon's 31 Days of being a better wife. (you all know Shannon founder and creator of So What! Wednesday). Another friend who's linked up is FNS's Remembering the Small Things. In being true to myself, I couldn't think of what I needed 31 days to do. Sure, I could have 31 days of healthier eating, 31 days of a cleaner house... but these either weren't exciting to me or I just wasn't motivated for 31 days.
So I thought what CAN I do for 31 days? What makes me different, my blog different, why are you all even reading this instead of the zillion other things you could be doing right now? When I first started thinking about this, my very first thought was to call it 31 Days of Awesome, so that's what I'm going with for the month of October. I'll talk about bringing the awesome into everyday.
But... I'll not be posting on this every day, but probably combining a few days into each post after today. It's going to be about anything and everything awesome. From the little things to big things. From the everyday to the extraordinary.
You know those 'Life is Good' shirts? Guess what? Life really is good. This whole blog started with me wanting to share with you guys about the awesome and amazing things that I do and see everyday. For the next 31 days I will bring the awesome to you. big time. Get ready to feel inspired to find your own awesome in the everyday.
If you want to do 31 days of anything, head on over to The Nester and create your own.
Ok So... drumroll....
My Day 1 of Awesome = Food Trucks!
I don't know about you, but if I see a truck selling food I get excited. Not sure how, when or where these got popular, but they are awesome to pretty much everyone.
I live in North Carolina and heck yes we have food trucks!

And they had a cupcake truck (ok van) too.
OMG Can I just say BEST CUPCAKE EVER!?
Lauren and I split the apple spice cupcake... yum!
I don't think a comment is even necessary for this one. It's baguettes. Poked.
And this is the finished product... chicken sausage in a baguette!
this is lauren's! She also got an italian soda and dill pickle chips!
