I was paired up with Abbey of Finding my Forever. It was an even swap, so I knew who my partner was ahead of time. I let her know that we all have a Target and I would like items local and regional to her area.... and Abbey totally hooked me up!
Abbey is in grad school at KU (University of Kansas) and sent me the cutest local finds! She sent me a package and really helped me feel like I was right there in Lawrence, Kansas with her :)
The note she sent was the very best, it let me know about each item and why she included it. The postcards and buttons (flair) are from The Dusty Bookshelf. This used bookstore is on Mass, the main street in downtown. She said they are known for cats roaming the store... Hello Kitty (thats what I'd say if I were there LOL).
And you all know how much I like over the knee (thigh high) socks. I have already broken these out because it's gotten chilly in NC. How cute would these look on me to keep me warm at the color run in November? I think they'll be perfect (ok not white, but whatever, I think your shirt just has to be white).
And the gardenia soap is awesome! I went into my dining room wondering what smelled sooo amazing. I realized it was the soap! I had unwraped the package from Abbey in there and the soap made the whole room smell so good! Gardenia always reminds me of my Nana and it's awesome having the beautiful gardenia scent in my house!
Thank you thank you Abbey and good luck in grad school!
